Vegan Dishes and Drinks You Must Try When Visiting Shrida Taste of Ubud Restaurant

As its name, Vegetable Summer Rolled is made of various vegetables. Our chef picks the vegetables from the local farmers and chooses the organic ones. The fresh vegetables were rolled in rice paper.

Jukut Undis 

You may be curious about the taste of traditional Balinese dishes, yet you don’t know the best one for vegetarians. Just go to Shrida Taste of Ubud Restaurant and order one of our dishes known as Jukut Undis. 

This traditional Balinese dish is made of black bean, eggplant, and chatoye squash. It is not only perfect for vegans but also for those who are avoiding dairy ingredients and gluten. 

Gado-Gado

Gado-Gado is a great alternative if you want to try the taste of Indonesian or Balinese salad. This salad consists of mixed vegetables. Our chef is about to roll the vegetables in white cabbage. 

Then, he serves the mixed vegetables with tomato cherry, boiled quail egg, and crackers known as Emping Melinjo. The taste of this salad will be perfect with peanut sauce.

Indonesian Vegetable Curry 

Indonesian curry is also popular among tourists. It seems that they suggest foreigners who are visiting Indonesia try curry. Unfortunately, most curries in Indonesia are not made for vegans. 

The good news is that there is a curry that is served for vegans at Shrida Taste of Ubud Restaurant. This curry is made of carrots, baby green beans, cauliflower, capsicum, and mushrooms. It is typically a yellow curry style. Our restaurant serves this vegetable curry with steamed rice. 

Spinach and Mushrooms Ravioli 

Shrida Taste of Ubud Restaurant also has international dishes to serve to its guests. Our local chef has international cooking experience, so he knows how to cook and serve various dishes for foreigners. Spinach and mushroom ravioli are one of them. 

We designed this dish for vegans who want to eat pasta. The special part about this menu is that we made the pasta. Then, our chef cooks the pasta with spinach, mushroom, and cream sauce. 

Linguine Napolitana 

Alternatively, you can also order a dish known as Linguine Napolitana. We also designed this dish for vegans who want to comfortably eat at our restaurant. 

Our chef prepares Linguine pasta and toast it with tomato fondue and parmesan cheese. This fresh and delicious dish is served with garlic bread.  

Margherita Pizza 

You can even eat delicious pizza when visiting Shrida Taste of Ubud Restaurant. We prepare a vegetarian pizza known as Margherita Pizza. As a pizza for vegans, we cook the pizza dough with tomato sauce, fresh sliced tomato, mozzarella, and basil. 

This menu is a perfect option if you want to share with friends while enjoying the great ambiance around the restaurant. Margherita Pizza is a simple dish, yet it satisfies your hunger. 

Tapay Cheesecake

Just because you are a vegan it doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy delicious desserts. We want to facilitate you with all the menus you want to eat, including desserts for vegetarians. One of the special desserts for vegans from our restaurant is Tapay Cheesecake.

Tapay is an Indonesian traditional dish made of fermented cassava. Our chef mixes the tapay with cream cheese, strawberry, and blueberry compote.

The unique part that you may not find in other restaurants is that we use edible soil in this dessert. This Tapay Cheesecake is served with chocolate sauce and raspberry sorbet. 

Ubudian Healthy Drinks 

Indeed, we also serve special drinks for vegans who visit our restaurants. We have Ubudian healthy drinks. One of the drinks you must try is Shrida’s Jamoe. This drink is suitable for vegans since it is made of carrot, turmeric, honey, and lemon juice. 

There is also a drink known as Green Shadow. We make this drink from spinach, apple, pineapple, and lime. You can also order another healthy drink known as the Purple One. Our chef mixes some ingredients, such as beetroot, carrot, ginger, celery, and apple to make this fresh drink. 

We also have Eyes Opener drink that is made of carrot, celery, green apple, and orange. These drinks are not only perfect for vegans but also for all guests who find a healthy drink to start their day in Ubud.
